Software for Power Distribution Systems

International standards define a number of different power distribution systems, TN or IT.

• TN systems: The most frequently used power distribution systems worldwide are the TN systems. Three phase power distribution with a common earth connection back to the supplying transformer.
• IT system: The IT-system (Isolated Terra) is in use in Norway (90%), Belgium and some other countries. The differentiation lies in the way the Protective Earth (PE) and the Neutral are treated
